Flo Wirtz

Flo Wirtz is a Staff Product Security Engineer at doxy.me, bringing a robust background in product security, engineering, and operations. He is currently pursuing a part-time Master of Science in Software and Systems Security at the University of Oxford, where he has achieved distinctions in Digital Forensics, Mobile Systems Security, and Network Security.

Prior to his current role, Flo co-founded Smithy, focusing on engineering and product development. He spent nearly two years at Wise as a Senior Application Security Engineer and Application Security Engineer, specializing in threat modeling and Kubernetes. His entrepreneurial spirit also led him to co-found Open Climate Fix, where he served as Engineering and Operations lead for over two years, contributing to technical documentation and Terraform. Earlier in his career, he was a Backend Engineer (Security Champion) at Thought Machine.

He holds a Bachelor of Science in IT-Systems Engineering from the Hasso Plattner Institute.
