Tara Murphy

A recent graduate of Trinity College Dublin, they hold a degree in Theoretical Physics. Tara completed their MRes in Nanoscience and Nanotechnology at Cambridge's Cavendish Laboratories, where their research focused on the intersection of theoretical physics and machine learning.

Her expertise spans various mathematical concepts in physics as well as hands-on experience in experimental and computational physics, gained through four internships at leading institutions including Tyndall National Institute, VULCAN Laser Research Facility, IBM Research Ireland, and Quantum Motion Technologies at UCL.

Currently, Tara is pursuing a PhD focused on applying machine learning strategies to simulate quantum technologies, in collaboration with Quantum Motion Technologies.
